WordPress Accessibility Remediation

Repair WordPress theme, builder, plugin and content barriers at their source. Scope access, staging, ownership and retests. Remediation starts at $2,449 for up to 15 pages after confirmation.

For Florida businesses, WordPress accessibility work starts by finding which template, builder, plugin or content field actually produces the barrier. We scope owner-controlled changes, test the affected tasks and document what a vendor must fix.

Find the source before editing the page

A heading may come from a theme template, Elementor or Divi widget, a custom builder block, or an editor's content. The same faulty markup can appear on every page using that component. We map the page to its theme, builder and plugins, check who owns each output, and prioritize reusable fixes instead of patching every URL by hand.

No plugin or “accessible theme” label establishes that the finished site is accessible. An accessibility overlay does not replace repairs to the underlying code and content. See why overlays are not code remediation.

What a WordPress repair can include

  • Templates and menus: restore semantic heading order, landmarks, usable navigation, visible keyboard focus and meaningful link names in shared templates.
  • Forms and errors: connect labels and instructions to fields; identify errors in text and move focus to useful feedback where the task requires it.
  • Widgets: check dialog focus entry, containment and return; make slider controls operable and provide a way to pause motion. Prefer native controls and restrained ARIA over attributes that contradict the behavior.
  • Content: review image alternatives and text/control contrast where editors can change them, then explain editorial responsibilities after handoff.

Plugin-owned interfaces and embedded vendor flows may require a plugin update, replacement or vendor request rather than a theme override. PDF documents and custom journeys need separate scope.

Protect fixes through the next update

Confirm access and a backup before editing; use staging when available, and keep customizations in an update-safe child theme or maintained source rather than editing vendor files in place. Record the affected template or block and retest agreed pages and tasks after theme, builder or plugin updates. A successful automated scan alone does not verify a form submission or dialog journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will an accessibility plugin or overlay fix the WordPress site?

No. A plugin may help with a specific control, but it cannot establish that theme markup, editor content, plugin forms and vendor tasks work together. We scope repairs to the underlying source and retest agreed tasks.

Can you change Elementor, Divi and third-party plugins?

We can inspect their output and repair owner-controlled templates, styles and settings where access permits. Vendor-owned code may need an update, replacement or provider fix; we document that dependency rather than claiming to control it.

How are fixes kept after an update?

Confirm backups and preferably staging, make update-safe source or child-theme changes, and retest affected templates and tasks after theme, builder or plugin updates. Future monitoring does not include unlimited repairs.
